People are expressing their grief, anger, frustration, and pain in many ways as of late. I prefer music as my method by which to vent such feelings. Within the perspective of what has happened and what is inevitable, I have put together a compilation CD for myself with songs that express this situation well for me. Here are the songs in order:

Slayer - War Ensemble
Megadeth - Holy Wars
Immortal - Triumph
Megadeth - Take No Prisoners
Sepultura - Refuse\Resist
Iron Maiden - Aces High
Iced Earth - Ghost Of Freedom
Gravedigger - The Round Table
Sinergy - Lead Us To War
Iron Savior - The Battle
Judas Priest - Some Heads Are Gonna' Roll
Immortal - Damned In Black

What would be on everyone else's CD's, if you were to make one regarding the current times?

I'd go for a compilation with good metal songs that give me hope, though most of my favorite bands are pretty dark ...
"True Belief" by Paradise Lost would be it on I think.

mostly chosen for song titles:

Bleak - Opeth (but things won't be bleak forever)
Oh Father - Madonna (just because it's an emotional song)
I Must Be Dreamin' - Cheap Trick (isn't this all a dream?)
The Bazaar - The Tea Party (these times are bazaar)
Perfect World - Reveille (wouldn't it be nice)
Paranoid - Black Sabbath (hey, my neighbor could be a terrorist)
Reality of War - Pissing Razors (it is now)
Start the Fire - Metal Church (that's what they did)
Free Your Mind - En Vogue (can't we all just live together?)
Watch It Burn - Cast Iron Hike (I watched and watched)
Born in the USA - Bruce Springstein (hey, I'm American, and I am proud)
All Hell Breaks Loose - Destruction (here we go)
Darkness Descends - Dark Angel (it seems that way now)
and finally:
High - Jimmies Chicken Shack (so I can temporarily forget all that is happening around me)
