Its the vox which sound a little himish at times, and the rhythms underneath kind of drive, but not in a brutal way... similar to him. But Lilitu do it really really well in comparison, My bro was just saying how he doesnt understand why he can't get into him mainly for the vocals even though he loves the lilitu vocals (which are only ocasionally similar)... and I agree. It's just better song writing on lilitu's part.

I personally dont mind it that Lilitu gets compared to bands like Dark Tranquillity or HIM. The fact that they are American and play a very Euro styled brand of metal will of course get them comparisons to DT. BTW, if you can find it, I HIGHLY reccomend listening to the song "I Cannot Be Saved" It is a sprawling 11 minute masterpiece.

Back to the topic, when I was staying with them in Austin, Jonah (keyboards) was telling me to make sure my interview was a good one cos right before they left Atlanta Derek and Jason (guitar/ vocals, guitars) did an interview where the person asked questions that they've answered five million times. Derek got bored and started saying that his favorite song was R Kelleys "I Wanna Pee on you" and that he is infatuated with Ville from HIM and all this stuff. I hope to have it online tonight before I prep my questions for the DT crew tomorrow.

Gates of Ishtar-damn, i didn't know anybody knew them! They were an amazing band-more blackend death ala Dissection, but still an amazing band. Everybody on this forum should have their Cd Dawn of Flames!
