Though for sheer annoyance value, it's tough to beat Killswitch Engage and N*Flaymz, as well as the Unholy Trinity of Machine Head, Pantera and Sepultura.

I dunno, dude. Have you HEARD Supercharger? That album makes Panterrible sound like "One Shot At Glory." Christ, that Mayhem rehearsal where they play too loud for the recording system and all the riffs get fucked up is less annoying.

yeah Supercharger is one shitty album. But nothing seriously beats Reroute To Remain or Soundtrack To Your Escape, the cheese factor is just beyond any level of imaginable cheesiness.

I think Rob Flynn and Mikael Akerfeldt should start a band, that goes from repetivie acoustic passages to monotone modern riffs. Anders Frieden can "sing." That way the worst band ever will no longer be in question.

how about, you stop paying out bands just because you want to sound like your so "over that whole mainstream metal thing" accept that although you may not like them (or not admit to liking them) other's do and to them they are worthy of listening to. i agree that Supercharger is shite, but Through The Ashes, Burn My Eyes and the More things Change are all good albums for those who like machine head. stop bein such a little bitch and take some fucken panadol.
