thanks for sharing , now finally I've seen the guy behind my favorite thrash records (testament above all)
the trick about the bass cab is really something new, never heard about laying the cab on its back over the floor, I guess it's to increase the lowend

It helps with the punchiness of the bass track since the cone settles back toward the magnet faster (stops vibrating). Although now I want to try experimenting with hanging a mic from the ceiling to mess with low end.


Now if only I could find that Yamaha microphone......
