So basically Iniquity was one of the first death metal bands I heard and I still find their music badass beyond all comprehension.
What other bands play a similar blend of technicality and groove without compromising on headbangability? I like the production equally - kinda dirty but not lacking at all in clarity. The clever pace changes are also important I suppose. Iniquity seem to save the blasts and the speed so that when it comes in it actually means something, and tempo changes like ~1 minute into Inhale the Ghost basically make me shit my pants (Gorod have a couple of similarly fantastic moments IMO).
