A specific Death metal request

I've got Asphyx's 'On The Wings of Inferno', real good stuff. And i'll check out Crucifix. I'm surprised at many bands are being recommended that i already know of and have albums buy.

bah, On the Wings of Inferno is not really what the Asphyx sound is all about. Check out The Rack.

also, you might like Aeternus. not really death metal by definition, but more Dark Metal. Not technical at all, and at times, they groove.

Will Do. I'd agree with Aeternus, but only their latest album, 'A Darker Monument'. The first 3 or 4 songs from that album are quality, but it bores me to tears in the last couple of tracks.

again, you're listening to the wrongalbum. Aeternus' early works are infinitely better than the present-day stuff. Check out Beyond the Wandering Moon.

Their earlier albums don't lean towards DM like their last 2 albums do, they're not what I'm looking for.
