INRI video!

Back on topic........

I think the video needs to focus on one person.
Probably an elderly chap, between 50 and 60.
He (or she) wanders aimlessly throughout the video, wondering why he is alone. Ocassionally, he will run into various "Dark" objects (gargoyles, wolves, dogs, etc)....

There will be various cuts to the band playing in what seems to be hell. Lots of reds and orange hues, lots of fire....

The climax will be the person facing the realization that they are actually already dead (and had been for MANY years, possibly as the result of some sin or their own fault). Not sure how they find out (IE - maybe wanter into a graveyard and see their own tombstone, or find an old obituary which details how they died).

i like this, maybe the band could be in darkness during the verse, with fire and lave surging behind them during the chorous.

Oh! im happy to hear that tony's directing, autum reflections is my favorite video by you guys. It also just so happens that video is what got me into the band :)

That's a pretty elaborate concept, Jason. An interesting interpretation of what the song is about, as I have my own idea of what it means that has NOTHING to do with your concept hahaha. I guess that's the beauty of it, everyone has their own ideas and interpretation of songs.

Gargoyles, dogs, and wolves, and fire and stuff?? Are you sure you're not thinking of the concept for a Divinity Compromised video?! I bet we could get Vito to put on some leather and a frilly shirt too, and a sword!!!

Yeah, this is kinda how I saw the haunted corn maze, with the "guy" being in first person, you never see him...kinda like ala "The Blair Witch Project" (just not that cheesy ;) ) With Paul 'chasing' him through the maze, and every turn in the maze is one of the guys from the band playing, but all Gothed out, and having other goblins and such, from like the coverart..where the ending is finally out of the maze---into a shallow grave

Dragon Unearthed...Cool.. I see where you are going with that.

Larry - Yeah, ok, maybe the wolves and gargoyles are a bit much.

That's what I love about music though, is how everyone has a different perception of what a song is about, or what it could possibly be about.

defenitly, music is an abstract art form, everyone sees it in a diferent view (speaking of view, the new alice in chains song a looking in view kicks ass), with a eulagy vid, i think there really needs to be some good dark/light contrast, both figureitively and literaly

I just like any movie, show, video, etc that has a twist.
That's where I was going with the "lost guy" at the end facing the realization that he is actually already dead.

preaching on a pedistal in a corn field= children of the corn? cool movie...kinda corny now(no pun intended)
