Instrumental Music?

Anyone know of some good instrumental bands? Like some heavy stuff and/or dark, bleak. I know of Godspeed You Black Emperor! but that isn't very heavy, although good music.

Try Geomancer. Similar to older In Flames, maybe a little more progressive. All instrumental I believer.

I have both LTE's and they rock hard.

I checked out geomancer and its some pretty nice stuff.

Its not instrumental, but there is a band called acoustic torment thats pretty cool www.acoustic-torment.de

Though it's only mostly instrumental, try Ulver's 'Perdition City'. Very very dark, and very very bleak.

This isn't a heavy band, but they're gods of post-rock and IMO better than GY!BE: Slint. Their best songs are Rhoda, Good Morning Captain, Washer, and Breadcrumb Trail, although anything off Spiderland is awesome and Tweeze is almost as good.

GYBE is the best instrumental music, hands down. I don't care whether its heavy or not... and it can get heavy, "Static" anyone?
