10 Mins... twas an annoying session as It was too warm in my sauna of a bedroom

4) Why did you want to learn to play it/them?
I remember wanting to play violin, but there were no lessons at my school so I just picked up the guitar, and my dad used to spoon feed me direstraights

5) How much time do you spend practising?
between 1 and 3 hours a day

6) Do you abuse your instrument(s)?
well I do a double tapping technique where I have to cross my arms which is probably pretty abusive because of the speed on force my index finger hits the neck... but no... I love my guitars.

7) Does/do it/they have name(s)?
no not really, my friend used to call my SG Tereasa and when I dint know what he was on about he'd slap me and say I dont even know my own guitar

8) Do you let anyone else play your instrument(s)?
I'm too kind to go "GET THE FUCK OFF THAT YOU BIATCH" But I often want to, especially with this one dickhead (my brothers friend) *urgh* .

9) Have you personalised them in any way?
My first electric guitar was really cheap and pretty shit so I painted it silver when I got my next guitar (an SG) then when I got my next two guitars (An Ibanez superstrat and a Jackson Flying V) I Put stickers on my SG. Now my brother has defiled them witha green permanent marker and the word COCK.

10) Have you performed in public?
Yeah, I gotta for my A levels. I find it terribly nerve racking. I havnt done any gigs because I dont have a band (WHICH IS HELL FOR ME!!!)

11) Did you get any money from that?
No, just good grades

12) How good or bad do you reckon you are?
People think Im ace but Im modest and I think Im ok, sometimes when Im onform I feel unstoppable, but when Im not on form I feel like I SUCK

13) Does knowing how to play said instrument(s) help get you dates?
My girlfriend doesnt really care that I play guitar, and I dont really brag about it. Its not common knowledge at my school or anything, the only people who know I play are those in my Music class and from my primary school.

14) Have you ever slept with your instrument(s)?
Hell yeah, it was uncomfortable but I did it when I just got my SG (I was Thirteen at the time)

15) Does your significant other get jealous of your instrument(s)?
She does actually. I cant play around her because she likes to have my attention all the time, and unless Im serenading her... then yes she gets jealous of my instrument.

violin, cos its soooo badass and there's so much to be explored about the instrument.

Yeah, cos when I get a job its on my agenda to get a badass violin. But I dont think Ill get immense at it like guitar, Ill just play it for fun.

Piano - it's a family thing (my mom is a music teacher)
Guitar - because it's so damn cool
Mandolin - again, a family thing (the same one has been passed down two generations already)
Djembe - eh, felt like learning some African instrument

Piano - back when I had the time, I'd say sometimes up to three hours in one day...now, about half an hour a week
Guitar - sadly only 2-3 times per month, for a couple of hours
Mandolin - I actually forgot most of the basics :\
Djembe - every now and then

Er not physically, but in terms of giving them attention, I haven't had a choice as of late...

Yes, with the piano and djembe.

Definitely the best at piano. Apparently I'm better than my mom and she's been playing for over forty years, and she has all of her Conservatory. Guitar, I can get by with what I know but I wish I was better. Mandolin, screw that, I probably must suck if I were to pick it up right now. Djembe, I'm catching on incredibly quickly.

Ha, no one around here has any value for music.

They're all great. Guitar is the best to jam with though.

Cello because they sound absolutely gorgeous. Bass and drums just to cover my basis. Sitar because I've always been intrigued by it; it sounds so cool. Mbira because it sounds pretty cool too (actually walked into the African store looking for this but since they were out of stock I walked out with a djembe instead).

Probably. Only concern with the sitar is if I can actually find a left-handed one.

Piano, probably.

When i started, i wanted to learn all the classic iron maiden, judas priest, Metallica and Dio I could. The first song i learned was "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd

probably an hour 3 days a aweek

Hell NO!! With 2 Gibson Les Pauls and a Fender Strat, that would be fucked up

I call my 1988 LP Custom "the beast" because its so fucking heavy

I put new bridge pickups in both Les Pauls. I put new knobs on the Strat.

1988 Les Paul Custom-Wine Red-Stock minus the neck pickup cover and the bridge pickup is changed
1990 Les Paul Standard-Black-This guitar was in pieces when i bought it-put new tuners, knobs, and a new bridge pickup in it.
2003 Fender Hwy1 USA strat-Natural wood color-the knobs have been changed, but i still have the origonals.
