How the hell do I remove these fucking annoying adverts that appear in my apps?

I get them all the time in Pingchat, angry birds etc

Any have any trouble with this? I'm using a mac by the way.

Also, there is no "Top Free Apps" tab in my app store :S

I only got it today, so maybe I'm mussing something

Those will be in there unless you purchase the apps. It's app-specific, not iPhone-specific.

If you have free apps, the advertisements are probably iAds or ads by AdMob. The solution is to get the paid version of the app if one is available.

Top Free is here under "Top 25":

When you scroll to the bottom of that list, it says "Show Top 50..."

Got it, the free apps tab wasn't showing, restarted and now it's there

Also, is there any way of removing the ads?

Found a cool app to view this forum too, it's called Forum Runner

You cant remove the ads, everyone already said that. If its a free app it has ads. You have to buy the app for the ads to go away.

I know man but some of the apps I have, like Ping, is only free, no paid version so I was seeing if I could block them somehow

No, there is no way to block them. Even if there is no paid version of the app, the developer that made the app is using ads to generate revenue so he can keep his app at $0. There is no way to block ads from the apps, they are part of the app.

As said, there is no bug, some apps are made this way. It's like any website, excepted here you cannot have Addblock.
