design you mean like the look of the thing? everything good software-wise? No signal problems and that? I'm still waiting for it to arrive in Spain

Yeah like the physical phone itself I dont really like the new shape of it, it just feels weird in my hands. I've tried to recreate the signal dropping problem and I haven't been able to yet, so thats a plus. Software wise I can def notice that the performance is improved, switching between apps and all that is alot smoother, and the clarity of the screen is a noticable difference from the old iPhone. All in all they did pretty good with it.

Very well I'll take your word for it. Another question, how much did you pay for it? bought it AT&T, or factory unlocked? or what? Cause I got some money saved but I don't know how it will be priced here, if it's too much I might end up getting a 3gs (I got a 3g)

Well i originally did the pre order from apple. and the total came out to $212 and change....I ended up going to walmart and i got it for $210

Also im a current at&t customer, i was eligible for the upgrade so this was what my cost was.

Using iPhone 4 since June 24th and I'm loving it.
It owned every other smartphone i tried (and I tried many, over a 1-year period). The only other phone I'm interested in is a Blackberry Bold, but the concept is way too different to compare them. As I'm more a surfing and gaming guy than a business guy, the iPhone was the better option.

I was never really into any of the blackberries. still not liking the new design of this phone though lol so far in 1 phone call ive managed to, put my girl on speaker, mute her, put her on hold, AND call someone with threeway, all while just having the phone on my ear.

FYI -
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Apple Inc. (AAPL) admitted Friday that all of its iPhones mistakenly over-inflate their signal strength as criticism mounts over the effectiveness of the wraparound antenna design of the iPhone 4.
The Cupertino, Calif., company said that since the original iPhone, it has used an incorrect method to determine the number of bars to display on the device. In several instances, the iPhone would display two more bars than it should, providing an overly rosy indication of its cellular reception.
Apple said it would issue a software update "within a few weeks" to fix the problem ...

==================================================

The tech site AnandTech recently went into more detail on the iPhone 4's "compressed, optimistic" range of display bars. According to AnandTech, "over half of the range of possible signal levels in dBm (from -99 dBm to -51 dBm) is reported as 5 bars."
