Symphony X is one of the best bands out there. I have a list of "favorites" that I always love listening to and never get tired of:

Iron Maiden
Evergrey
Dimmu Borgir
Symphony X
Rhapsody

Recently added are...

Tristania/Sirena and Luca Turilli...Prophet Of The Last Eclipse did it for me

Aren't we forgetting a little something.....Dream Theater???? . ...Although I'm not sure who's better of the two.(If either surpasses the other)..SX or DT...But they are two of the biggest prog bands in my mind.
