oh yeah, Symphorce is pretty good. Haven't heard their new album yet, but I fear it's more radio friendly than Twice Second.

Nowhere is about the only release I'd consider radio friendly. and in the US we know no radio play at all...except the internet. Blackwater is a wicked, wicked track. I highly recommend 'Godspeed' imo better than TS.

Check out Altered Aeon, they are some good technical power/thrash metal, very much in the same vein as Nevermore.

Actually, I'd suggest Control Denied. I've read that before Tim Aymar was asked to do the vocals, Warrel Dane was asked, but he wasn't available. Mr. Aymar does a very good job too thouhg, and the vocal lines are very similar to Warrel's singing


Also, I own everything by Symphorce and yes they rock. Their new CD is very good, but just not quite as awesome as Twice Second or PhorcefulAhead were.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Manticora. While, they don't sound altogether similar to Nevermore, they've always just struck me as being similar; try giving them a listen and decide for yourself.
