Is this TOO "tight"?

I obviously edited the crap out of it, but reaper lacks an elastic feature, so I kind of cut some tails off a little early...

it's not that it doesn't sound tight, there's no punch behind it...edit a bit less or do some sidechaining with the noise gate...thats how i prefer to do it...

That's it. It's a mix problem, not an edit problem. Put more oomph into the guitars and drums.

Well i haven't done much to try and mixbyet. I just want to edit before I reamp. What would get more punch? Thanks doe the input.
