So I've heard of these guys and someone told me today to try them out. I listened to Panopticon. Very fucking impressed!
Then I couldn't resist and had to get In the absence of Truth.

I'm going to buy these albums the moment I see them.

Anyone recommend any other good Isis albums for an Isis n00b?
My mate also said there are some good remixes out there for Isis, I'd be interested in hearing some of these too

Oceanic, In The Absence of Truth, Panopticon, Celestial... they all destroy.

Everything by Isis does. The split with Aereogramme also annihilates.

Check out Cult Of Luna (Salvation + Somewhere Along The Highway), Callisto (Noir) and basically everything by Neurosis.

When I first got Panopticon, I HATED it...but over the past few years it has grown on me and now I love it. Have since gotten Oceanic and ITAOT...my god, just fantastic stuff.

all the albums are amazing in a different way. the only one id say is weaker than the rest is Celestial, still a good album but even the band themselves say theyve come a long way since then. That said you should still get it.

i got to see one of their 10 year shows... one of the most awesome shows ever.
