Holy Diver.... i mean, almost every track is a classic, and its in every metal fans collection.... you're not metal until you know every song on the album by heart.

Sorry I only know but maybe 2 or 3 songs off that album hahaha I am truely not a big Dio fan by anymeans and I never have owned that album  ....... anyways .... FUCKIN A Soundmaster! its nearly impossible to choose! its a Toss up between Shout at the Devil, Kill em all, and Glory Ride ..... shit .... thats hard ... well Glory ride gets the boot first ... and if it were Shout Vs. Master of Puppets MOP would win Hands down ... but its not so I will have to go with Motley Crue-Shout at the Devil its easily theyre Darkest and Heaviest album prior to MC'94 and Prolly still darker then that one :D

None of the above. How about these:

Satan - Court in the Act
Witchfynde - Cloak & Dagger
Heavy Load - Stronger than Evil
Manilla Road - Crystal Logic
Warlord - Deliver Us (EP)
Mercyful Fate - Melissa
Acid - Acid

1984, while copyrighted (and recorded) in 1983, was not released until January 1984. When the Jump video debuted on MTV on New Years Eve 1983, the album had not yet been released.

Dude, how can you only know "but maybe" 2 or 3 songs from Holy Diver. :err: If you weren't even paying attention, you would at least know Stand up and Shout, Holy Diver, Rainbow in the Dark, and Don't Talk to Strangers!?! Right? I guess you don't like DIO that much, but c'mon!

Personally a hard choice for me between Saxon and Maiden. I was huge into Maiden since killers and of course after the success of NOTB was pumped for that record to come out. Saxon released ,what is still my favorite Saxon record with Power and the Glory, so looking at them both its hard to decide on the 2 . In my high school Pyromania and especially Metal Health were the big records every one had although i wasnt a huge Quiet Riot fan but they were real popular in my school. 83 and 84 are still my favorite years between the records and concerts

WOW ! it's about the worst heavy metal band I heard.... o_O

anyway I never heard a good metal band out of Belgium :yuk:
Sixty Nine? Enthroned? 2 good examples of fine metal out of Belgium.
There is a killer death metal band from that country but thier name eludes me.
I think the first letter was a "M".

WHAT? I don't know if I had to shoot you because what had you said about Acid or for contradicting my belove daughter Grif.

Acid along with STOS are the best female-fronted thrash bands ever. Due to my utter ignorance at the time I let pass the opportunity to get "Acid" and "Maniac" in CD format, will regret to the end of time :erk:

So what? This could be more telling about you than about Belgium metal bands and their quality.

How can you use your ignorance of the Belgian metal scene as an excuse to slam Belgian metal. Thats just uncalled for!

how do you know I'm ignorant of the Belgian metal scene ? :yow:

actually, I'm not though I'm not a specialist either... it's just all I heard (FN Guns, Cyclone, Acid, Ancient Rites, Warhead etc...) was closer to shit than gold... the exception being the cool BM band Gorath and their exquisite cover of Britney Spear's Toxic :headbang:
