they've gone and opened a little day care operation in the apartment diagonally behind mine. so during the day, if one dares to sit in the living room with the window open, they're hear screeching children playing in a 12'x12' fenced in grassless backyard. freddy just stands under the window with his ears up like, what the hell is that?

I have this problem too. Here's what I do. Whenever they are screaming and wake me up (I don't like getting up until 1pm as that's when Growing Pains and Step by Step come on) I go outside and throw a bag of trash over the fence. I say "Oops. Missed the dumpster again." and happily go back to bed.
