just wait until you get your ears on The Politics of Ecstasy and Dreaming Neon Black. . .
Nevermore is like a black hole, you can't help but get sucked in. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. resistance is futile. . .
I like Nevermore, i'm going to buy Dreaming Neon Black when I get some money. The vocalist hasn't really impressed me yet, maybe I'll get used to it, but the vocals didn't do much for me yet.
by saying stuff like that..
I used to say, that Nevermore didn't do anything to me and yes, i said THAT too..especially the vocals didn't seemed to "catch" me.
Now i'm hooked and it's not even my fault!
i was forced to listen
The same thing happened to me, the first disk I heard was Politics, and I liked the music, but the vocals didn't do much for me, but when I bought Dreaming Neon Black it didn't take long for me to get hooked, there is so much passion in Warrel's vocals on that disk, awesome.
nocturnal
ever since i heard the first nevermore song, i was hooked! it was This Sacrament, the vocals, guitar work, drums... EVERYTHING was fucking perfect... Nevermore is fucking awesome
The first Nevermore album I got was Politics Of Ecstasy. Terrible choice for a first album, huh..
I didn't really get into the band until I heard "Inside Four Walls" and "Believe In Nothing" on a Century Media sampler and immediately ran out to buy Dead Heart In A Dead World.
Oh.. I also had a problem with their music and especially the vocals in the past. My first Nevermore album was Dreaming Neon Black. After first listen I liked some songs but I felt kind of dissapointed and thought I had spend my money on not-so-good album. I listened to it few more times and more songs begun to open up their purpose. After about five or six listens Warrel's voice did not bother me anymore. And few days later I bought Politics of Ecstacy. Nowadays, they're one of my favourite bands.
i dont remember what song i first heard by nevermore. i think it was "what tomorrow knows" im not sure. but anyway, i think politics could've sounded better than it did. the factor of noise on it automatically did not make it my favorite album, lets put it that way. the music is ok, but the noise of the album is what bothered me the most about it. i loved dreaming neon black and dead heart in a dead world. i think that even the ep "in memory" was better than politics. i dont know, i just didnt like the album that much.
