Nevermore noob - where to start?

if you want fast, "born" off of This Godless Endeavor is awesome, epic ass chorus riffage. if you want awesome melody and epic choruses, "the heart collector" off of Dead Heart In A Dead World is amazing. Its a song that is very meaningful to me, but that wouldnt matter, would it? All of their albums are pretty different. I would go with This godless endeavor. well, shit, dead heart....no wait....

I'm new to Nevermore - where should I begin? I'm right now listening to The River Dragon Had Come from Dead Heart.. the riffing and the guitar playing is great!! But I will need to get used to the vox.. anyhow? I hope someone could help me :kickass::lol:

I remember sitting in a house on queen ann hill in seattle where nevermore would soon live after getting loomis. It was the eightys and life was a party, and better yet we were there to watch the future tense video on MTV for the first time. Partying with these guys then was exiting and still is..Brilliant then and Brilliant now,,,Still good friends Great Great Great human beings and Creative Talented Musicians making unique metal in a world of (its ok to scream like a cookie monster in every song cause i cant create a melody metal) Warrel and Jim were in this band,,,Jeff Loomis joined toward the end. After the breakup of Sancuary a drummer named Mark Arrington was in for a while and midway through the first cd Van Williams joined and took over drums in a big way and as they say the rest is history.Like some of the bourd said,,,,Start early career and move forward. That progression is how most of us became loyal nevermore fans.GROW WITH THE BAND..Hope you enjoy these early vids with W.D. and J.S.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5NCBaPE3k0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1Z8GTvPnQE
