Iron Maiden = best band ever. I may not like their music as much as I used to, but they're an amazing liveband (queued for about 10 hours last year to get as up-front as possible) and the reason I started playing guitar.

i have no doubt or lack of respect for what they've done, and i can see why so many people are heavily into them....
I just can't listen to them for more than a few songs. it sort of annoys me that they have 3 guitarists, and don't seem to use the potential that a situation like that has... all the crazy harmony harmonies you could do.....

Exactly. They don't need three to go and do classics tour after classics tour. I always think they could easily be so much heavier than they are and would be better off for it. And a few of their songs from recent albums have left me waiting for them to do something and then they finish.
Judas Priest all the way for me. I think I would even take Saxon over Maiden. As with Matt and Dave I like to listen to a few of their songs once a month or so and that does me.
