It's Saturday Night.

Moving back to the US, I'm trying to pick up the pieces of my existence again, but I'm thrust into what could be called constant school work, and I'm dirt broke without a job, and weedless! I don't even have time to go look for a job, or even renew my license. Sorry this turned into a problems thread, but I had to vent like the rest of 'em.

How come you're moving back to the US?
and please forgive my horrible memory... but you used to live in.....
Germany?

It DOES sound fantastic, and it is until 6:00 pm or so. But Italian weddings are events that you don't want to be the first person to leave, and no one seemed to be leaving. If it were up to me, I'd have left around 6. Fuck, I had already been there since 9 in the morning.

You have to remember that we were full of food around 4...but it just kept coming. It's fun the first time you do it...after that, it's just a pain in the ass.

Especially when outside the entire town was partying because of the Festival of the Holy Mary, and you're stuck inside in a fuckin' suit, forced to be on your best behavior.

Nah, if it would've ended around 8 pm or so, that woulda been awesome.

Chris, remind me one day to tell you my Italian experiences with food...
I've never ever ate more that in Italy

Friday night.. sat on my ass and did NOTHING. That was nice for a change.
Saturday, played in a golf tournament about an hour and a half drive away from my place. It started at 2:30pm and we were flirting with darkness for the last 3 holes or so. Nothing like playing hurry up golf DURING A TOURNAMENT. Frustrating. Either way, I took 1st place in my division and won $60! Then I had to haul ass back to Seattle to make it in time for the radio show. Didn't even have time to go home and shower or grab my cds. That sort of sucked. During the golf tournament, i was able to secure a ticket to the Seahawks game on Sunday, and the money I won from the tourny paid for the ticket.

Sunday I woke up at 8am after being at work until 3am. Met up with my tailgate friends at around 9am and started drinking. Drank until the Seahawks game started and then drank more inside. They stop serving alcohol at half time, so that gives everyone time to mellow out before going home. After the game I sat in the shitty Seahawks traffic for an hour and finally got home where I inevitably passed out shortly thereafter. Woke up at 8:30pm and went to feed my friends' cats while he's out of town, and then went to Goofy's for food and beers and pool. Stayed there until about midnight and then went to Greenlake and cruised around on my longboard with some friends until roughly 2:30am. Went home and got up at 9am to come to work and here I sit.

Typing that message just killed the remaining minutes of work. Yay, now I go home.

It was awesome. I'm always hesitant to agree to go to them nowadays because I work so late the night before and have to get up so early for the game, but once I'm there it's ALWAYS worth it.

It was a pretty exciting game. Scary for the Seahawks in the 1st quarter, but they pulled it together and won decisively.

I know, I saw it this morning that they won:)
also- thanks for the picture text to my phone from the game!!!
you rule! Glad you had a good time!
One day I have to sit in the SeaHawks stadium with you.. and maybe *MAYBE* drink a light beer.

maybe.

Well don't go getting ahead of yourself now. Let's just see how it all plays out before we start talking about light beer, ok?
We don't wanna get our hopes up quite yet... we're still vulnerable.

No, you didn't freak me out but let's just take it slow, ok? Light beer is a pretty big step and besides... if we wait it'll just be that much sweeter in the end :)
