ITT, we list Viking/Pagan/Heathen/Folk/Celtic metal must haves!

The new Falkenbach is much more like the debut. Some songs are prety much straight up epic black metal. Which is a good thing. Heralding sounds like it was done with more conviction. A HUGE step up from the last one.

However, I can tell fans will be split on this one.

sorry i know nothing of your "viking metal" but from the bands I know it rules

edit: ok fine fine i understand, I wouldn't say "must have" either, I thought this was the "Bands to check out" thread since i've been seeing a lot of shit/"non must-haves" posted

I'll edit the goddamned title if I must, but I'd rather see "check this band out" than "must have."

My bad. ;)

Now I'm confused....I thought "Viking/Pagan/Heathen/Folk/Celtic" was a SELECTION of genres, not 1 fucking sub sub sub sub sub genre.
is it? shit i dunno. i listen to rock n' roll mate, that's all. :loco:

I wasn't here either. :tickled:

And Erik, it's not like you drove to Vintage Vinyl during the day and brought it to my house. When it comes to recommendations, I need to be spoon fed. :loco:

Jesus H, are you serious?

I am. The sound on "Frostnacht" is too square for my taste and the songs, well, they're simply deeper and more rewarding on "Grátr". But don't get me wrong, "Frostnacht" is still a winnar when it comes to 2005 pagan BM.

Okay, finally I grace this thread with my presence.
