I've talked to a lot of people who come from... odd Christian backgrounds and have come out with a "normal" faith/belief structure. One of the ladies in my small group told us today that her Catholic parents question her sincerity in faith just because she goes to a non-denominational church rather than a Catholic one.

That said, Laura, if you are serious, I'm always happy to share whatever I know. I'm not an expert, don't have half the answers I should, and am by no means a perfect example. But heck, at least I'm fun.
