Keyboardist Jason Keesecker is no longer with Vehemence. There are no plans for a replacement, although a session pianist will be used for the upcoming album. We wish Jason the best of luck with whatever he choses to do.

AH!
What the fuck, Why???
Well, he hasn't made any attempt at getting hold of us, returning our calls, etc... Last time we played with him was in July at our show at Bash on Ash. Haven't seen him since. It is kind of disappointing, since we all considered him a close friend. He just signed a contract yesterday, that gets him out of his obligations with Metalblade, so that is why we held out on making an announcement until now. I also think he was tired of only playing on 3 songs out of about 30 songs we have. We don't need a full time keyboardist, and never really did. So we will carry on now without a keyboardist...

Me & Big Jesse were talking about that today, thinking that that was probably a legitimate reason...& low & behold that's what ya just said.

Kinda sucky.

Yes, it is unfortunate that he had to leave in the manner he did. Just up and left, got tired of playing one or 2 songs per album. Vehemence just never wanted this to be a full on keyboard band, some bands are good at it with their sound, but our sound uses the keyboards for atomsphere if anything, a guitar can create that as well.

It would be nice to see him hang out again, at shows or where ever. We wish him the best of luck to whatever we decides to do now.

My friend Nick, will be learning and preforming on the new album the keys...so await that. Sorry people if you really dug the keyboards!

Jason was a good friend to all of us. Somethings just change.

Bjorn did minimal keys for the song on the new album You Dont Have to Be Afraid Anymore. Overdub style basically, so there will be keys on our next album just for that song. The grand piano does have a nice chime natural reverb to it. Thanks to Will for getting that session time for us for free.
