better make a decent AMORED SAINT record...he owns nothing...you probably never seen the oidivnikufesin home video....now that is what ANTHRAX is about...be honest they haven;t released anything halfway decent with John!
That's just ridiculous! I mean your making a big deal about him wearing an Iron Maiden shirt!? That's just knit-picking. Aye I like Bush too, but I think you "Like" Bush... your obsessing over the wrong BUSH if you know what I mean. Everyone take a deep breath and you'll get through this.Armored_Bush said:Thanks for posting the pix supercharger

Did anyone else notice how Belladonna seems to be stuck in an 80's timewarp with his Maiden t-shirt from the Somewhere In Time era?
Been a fan of Thrax since A&D and first saw them in '86 with Metallica and they were great, however when Bush joined and Premadonna left the band were 100x better and less ego!
Now here we are in 21st Century with Bush gone and Joey Premadonna back to reclaim those '80's hey-days...
sad, sad day for Anthrax & Fans,
Armored Saint ruled, but that era is gone with the '80's as well (Delerious Nomad was one of the best metal albums ever!!)
Lets look forward and not back!

everyone loves that "bush"
Fair points everyone had made, and I'm not saying that what Anthrax is doing is either right or wrong, what I am saying is that in my opinion, Joey has always been a "premadonna" the double header tour was a great example where JB & JB (what's the chances of that?!) would both sing Bush doing the new Anthrax material and Beladonna doing the older material. However Joey never got the money he was looking for and in the end pulled out.
Now here we are 2005, Anthrax are getting better and better with each album, Belladonna getting further and further into obscurity - then all of a sudden :hotjump: we're back!!!!!
Music from the 80's was great, I still listen to it and love it - but come on Metal should and can move forward - no point in doing a "Motley" or "Kiss" where you all get back together and milk the money from the kids (and us of the older generation) because it WON'T be the same as when they were around in '85, it would be worse!
I have been around the boards for a while and posted now and then under different names (too old to remember all these damn usernames & passwords )
So lets see what happens, and I do hope that Anthrax do well with this tour (I still like the band, nothing will change that) but we don't want it to go soooo bad that they lose respect and more fans as well as decide that now they should give up!!
Great discussion though...

Nope
Is Joey resurrecting an 80's album and Tour, with the same 80's hair do???
Yup
Conclusion - Joey IS Stuck in the '80's
Anthrax - NOT
