I agree, he has such a deep voice naturally he really doesn't have to strain too much. It's really great how he combines the death growl with the black screech. It gives it a whole different dimension than most bands are capable of in the vocal department.

Hegg does have an awesome voice. The best in metal IMO..

Another thing I like is how he always pronounces an "e" on the end of a word as an "ay" sound...

"And soon the world will cease to bayyyyy"

I've been listening to more "growlers" recently and I still think Johan's growling is the best.
There was a "good growler" in an Indian band called "Reptilian Death". I checked the influences of the band and guess what... AA was listed!! A nice surprise that people in India know AA.
