Jorn Lande Replaces Nevermore for PPVII

I have knocked Jorn before as being way too cliche, but he is still a good singer. I am looking forward to hearing Ark and Beyond Twilight material. Still a little sad that Nevermore couldn't make it.

As long as he brings Jorn Viggo Lofstat along with him I will be happy. As much as I love guitar, I don't particularly like to watch guitarists. Jorn Viggo is an exception. This guy is a monster........

I was alot more excited about Nevermore to tell the truth. Not that this is a bad choice. I just would have rather seen somebody heavy like Nevermore close out the show. Should be interesting to see what he pulls out that night!

I think the guy has a nice voice, but to be honest, I haven't heard many songs I really like by him. I have heard two of his solo releases and Ark's "Burn the Sun" and they aren't that great to me. They are far from bad, but not exciting. To be honest, I was hoping for Vanden Plas.

Can't wait to meet you face to face !!

I am starting to get into an Ark song as well. The guy can sing and JV will be able to pull off Tore' Ostby's stuff. This Jorn Lande thing might be pretty good.

To me is nothing but good news. I have stated several times that I go mainly to know you all wackos :p, but having bands like Savage Circus and Jorn are nothing but one hell of a bonus.

I expect him to mainly play his solo stuff and more over the new album "The Duke" coming out this year (I already reviewed here). But maybe (and just maybe) he'll play something from Ark (I doubt Masterplan, Millenium, Mundanus Imperium and Beyond Twilight) and/or the Allen-Lande project.

He will not simply do his solo stuff. This is a special show for him. There will be stuff from much of his stuff. Jorn Viggo will be able to handle any Ark stuff he throws out as well.

In Glenn's post he said Jorn would be playing a lot of stuff that has spanned his career.

You can take an ordinary lyric and melody, give it to a really good singer and he'll something good with it. Give that same lyric and melody to Jorn and it becomes something special. I love his sense of melody, his phrasing...everything. The guy could sing the phone book and I'd enjoy it.

Where's the emoticon for psychotically playing with yourself in ecstasy?

Second that! I am in awe of this announcement. My feeling is Nevermore is from USA and odds are greater that I'll see them again soon. Jorn in US...I'm so there! :hotjump:

I knew you would love the news... myself, I love both Nevermore and Jorn... but since Jorn is least likely to play the States on his own, well this is really a treat!
