Do any of you have any youtube videos when Gene Hoglan was drumming for Opeth?

Is there any info on what Opeth has said about touring with Extol a few times? I know that Extol are christians. That used to be a problem for me but I don't care anymore because I don't know them personally so I don't know how they feel about it.

Well, it was mainly just Jesus himself. I have went through a lot of messed up things where I was very angry with God. So the whole belief and the people that believe in general. But not just that. There are so many religions that are really twisted. But that's because of man. But rather than looking at man I have kind of searched it out for myself. God, the Bible, etc. So I feel different about.

also, no problem with bbq, but it's hard to choose which bbq to go to. It is good to know that I can get free meals any day of the week. Last year I spent less than $200. I'm a hobo.

I know that you can't change anyone's mind about their religion. It's just about the way you are brought up to be.

i can count on one hand how many christians didnt try to ever influence my beliefs during the time ive known them. but the ones i chose to keep as friends were usually pretty respectful. its quite intruiging how my lack of faith can ultimately jeopardize someone elses apparently. i cant really get worried about religion, i dont understand people who go around openly bashing christians...its extremely cliched and fruitless. and frankly makes you sound like an arrogant asshole claiming to know the truth about something you cant disprove anymore than they can prove really. ultimately making you just as bad as them in that regard. rant about something with facts instead...much better way to spend time.

my family is christian and they are always trying to convince me to join their faith... i sit and listen, get good advices and keep my "evil" ways. You can learn so much from Jesus Christ that it would be stupid not to be open to listen to his teachings imo.

I remember reading in the Opeth session diaries that Mike said, "they were great" to tour with. He never said anything bad about them but just that they were very accomodating. After all, they rock!
