Whats some of your favorite drums for metal in it??

I thought i remembered reading like pearl 3 snare maybe but i could be wrong but just wanting to know the ones everyone on here uses.

I like the sonor kit with the DW snare.

Yup, i sometimes use the DW kicks, and my favorite pearl 3 snare... however, the entire sonor kit (just load it up) is pretty cool as well.

That said, I've been exporting the file out as raw Wav's, to use in other things... they're much cooler on their own than in the program.

The premier toms are the best for metal in my opinion. They have much more attack than the sonor toms.

Superior is made for metal. Even the "non metal" snare, toms, kicks are miced as a metal kit. So whatever works, jsut a matter of taste. the whole concept started when Mr. Thordendal wanted to have a drum library on his own, and he didn't think there were any good one out there... > He's kind of metal....
