Ex-demo, straight NOT oversized (Sorry Marcus:)) but I couldn't pass this one up as I got it half price good condition and from a local store!

:kickass::kickass::kickass:

I know I couldn't believe the price either! Ill re-amp some stuff for you with it if you want, when I get round to getting a re-amp box.

Yup about 450.

And yeah its the standard size one ive been told but at that price I couldn't care about a bit of 400hz issues, I don't see why I should let that slip, sell one of my guitars and fork out double the cash for a extra inch or two. Plus its straight so its heavier so technically it might have a touch more bottom than a slant thus being about right for me.

Haha yeah will get some clips once my interface arrives :)

Like I said, good luck! :) And just to be clear, you can get both the Stiletto and Oversized in Straight or Slant ;) (your first post kinda threw me off there)

And lest you think I'm the only one favoring the oversized over the traditional, Guitarhack has been saying it for years! (and he had that same cab you got). I guess all I'm suggesting is to honestly return it while you can; you may wanna have a look at this thread!

lol Marcus sometimes you make me laugh dude... The traditional cabs aren't pieces of shit, they are still great cabs! Soon enough I expect to hear you going on about "oh dude, if you get a Mesa 4x12 make sure you get an oversized straight one that was built between July 17 and July 28, 1993, their speaker wire supplier ran out of stock of the usual stuff Mesa uses and they shipped them a higher grade to replace it for that run, totally gets rid of the completely horrible sounding 0.05db peak at 376hz that renders the other oversized cabs completely unusable!"

Haha, yes yes Adam, I know it seems picky - but what can I say, when it's gonna be used for recording, the differences really do matter and add up. And have you ever owned a Stiletto/Traditional cab? Cuz if not, I think I'm in a better position to judge their quality than you are ;) (as well as Guitarhack and Moonlapse in the thread I linked to above; Moony never owned one, but he's had extensive experience trying to mic it up). Also...

Considering its the same price as my Framus I don't think ive stepped down. Ive browsed other forums and found quite the opposite to the Aussies and your experiences but we shall see when I post some clips.

Of course, I don't mean to keep hammering this one, I just had to respond to Adam and his veiled implications of me being a "cab boffin" as you would say :D

Aye I know man, im just really pleased to finally have a matching cab for my head even if its not perfect I haven't broke the bank and could get some good use out of it until the day comes where im perhaps in the right circumstances to head over to the OS camp.

I had the choice of either the Road King cab or the one I got, RK cab I don't hear much about so I stayed away from it.

Well that I'll definitely second, seeing as how the Roadking is basically a pair of 2x12's! (one of which is open-back :ill: )
