Karen - Betta talk :)

Snails poop more than I expected. In fact, they funked up my tanks more than they cleaned them! I mean there was an insane amount of poop when I started to vacuum the gravel tonight, which I do every week. This was the first time since adding the snails last Sunday. There was so much of it that I ended up having to do full water changes for both tanks, which hopefully won't cause them to have to cycle all over again, but probably will.

The stinky pewpy snails are now in their own little tank in the bathroom, til I figure out something better for them. PEWPY SNAILS.

Well, I was gonna move the snails to the kitchen and put them in one of my bigger cube tanks, with an undergravel filter & airstone. The check valve I bought from Petsmart earlier today was faulty, but I broke two airstones before I figured out what the problem was...soooo we went back to Petsmart (the one closer to my house) so I could get more supplies.

But then "Alice" struck my eye with her pretty opaque white coloring. Yay kitchen fishy! Snails are staying where they are in the bathroom heh.

I know! She's not completely white obviously, with some blue and red on her fins, but where she is white, it's pretty opaque so she's not just an albino or cellophane. Right as I took her and turned around, a big Mexican family with armfuls of new tank supplies pointed at her and said something in Spanish. The prolly wanted her. Too bad muwahaha.

She has a lot more red in her fins today. It's going to look cool if she has red fins and a white body!

All day she has been staring at her frog, as if wondering whether or not she should go in it's mouth. Derick said that earlier she was picking at the frog's nostrils haha! I guess because they are small and round kinda like a pellet. Yesterday she was also trying to eat the little air bubbles on the inside of the tank. Aww :)

My mom offered to feed her for me to which I replied "NOES" because she overfeeds everything. And she wanted to feed her stinky flakes, so I hid them in the bathroom with the snails. She better not feed my fish :bah:

Beware the snail poop. They poop A LOT. In fact, they seem to poop more than they eat, in my case anyway :p

I'd never put them back in my betta tanks, I got them to help clean the tanks but they just created a bigger mess than there was to start with.

Alice has a new tank. I thought she deserved better than Albert's old cube tank.

About 30 seconds in is where it gets really cute. She swims under her flowers over and over and over and over. Just like Albert does with one of his plants! What's with these guys?!! It's so cute :)

Derick just went out to the kitchen and said she's still swimming under it
