How many of you have heard the Katatonia song Scarlet Heavens from the Katatonia/Primordial split? I heard it just recently and it sounded nothing like Brave Murder or For Funerals to Come between which it's based. I also didn't like it that much although I like everything else Katatonia has ever done. It just sounded so different although it was still depressive.

I like Scarlet Heavens quite a lot,it's different from the rest, but that's nothing bad :D
it\s so sad that i don't have the split.... :( I've been searching for it for so many years that i am now completely convinced i will never come across it :waah:
oh,well we can't ahve everything we want

Primordial is an irish bind, kinda interesting.....but hmmm i don't know much about them, not even the address of their webpage

Scarlet heavens is a good track though it does go on a bit. It's also on the (limited to 1000) Saw You Drown MCD (along with the brilliant Quiet World)

Primordial are a band from Ireland, good stuff worth checking out.

And yeah it probably was me Dismal

MindMorgue.

I have Spirit the Earth Aflame by Primordial. I've only listened to it once though so I really can't say what it's like since it was a long time ago when I listened to it :p

I like Scarlet Heavens too, its different from all other work of Katatonia,(and Day is so) , its clean guitars and vocals are nice,

I'm in Ireland and know Primordial well- I have the split 10" and it's cool... I don't have a vinyl player anymore though and would happily sell it to someone that would value it... €25 plus postage will force it from my collection!

Primordial are with hammerheart- you'll find their site linked from that. Imrama was a great CD, they are playing my town in 2 weeks time and are recording at the moment....
