oh god......now its gonna be shit on because someone said MTV........if you guys all start arguing about whether it should be played on MTV or not I might go away and never come back.......and as much as some of you might like that please dont make me do it......
I am very excited about the video....I am positive that it will be tastefully done (I expect nothing less.....and have never been dissapointed) and I hope it gets Katatonia as much exposure as they have always deserved....regardless of where it is shown.....
NO ARGUING PLEASE
No arguing, but a discussion about this would be interesting..at least I don´t know on which channels metal videos are usually played...
I mean..if the video is for promotional purposes it must be played somewhere..not that it comes like a bonus on a Dvd and only the people who buy the Dvd can watch it.
I actually don´t watch Mtv because I don´t have it..and I don´t watch much Tv as well (here I only have channel 1, 2 and 4..not a big choice!)..so actually I´m totally ignorant about musical channels and the only ones I knew that could be good were payTVs...
For example in Italy there is a channel called RockTV (
www.rockweb.it)
where they only have metal, alternative and or rock videos and sometimes it was quite interesting...but you have to pay to watch it...
As for Mtv I have no idea how it is now...however one of my best friends works for the Italian Mtv and is responsible for the programming..maybe I should ask her
I would be glad if they made a good video and if other people could see it on Mtv too, but I highly doubt it...
A good video costs so much money and I actually don´t know if it is Peaceville that produces it...but I don´t think that Peaceville can afford a very expensive video like the ones you see on Mtv..
