Kimbo isn't even a top 50 heavyweight, it's ridiculous that people think otherwise - they are clearly ignorant. Seth Petruzelli is a journeyman fighter, who btw, is a weight class lighter than Kimbo is.

He's MMA's Butterbean. Except I like Butterbean and since Butterbean is fighting in MMA I hope he knocks Kimbo's head off. James Thompson, who Kimbo struggled with in his fight before this, got KO'd by Butterbean in 40 seconds.
Kimbo could always try boxing but his stamina will be shit, but he could always get one of those padded records, it's pretty easy to do that in boxing, and then get his head knocked off by Wladimir Klitschko's jab.

If I recall correctly, the Butterbean-Thompson fight ended because a terrible stoppage, and Thompson was never out...I believe that's what happened. And Butterbean actually has some insane punching power! As for Kimbo, he has no technique with his punches and is extremely sloppy, and has terrible cardio...so he'll never be as good as people think he is. He got paid half a million in his last fight.
Are you a boxing fan as well or just MMA? Do you do any MMA training, etc..? I'd like to do either or, though I'd prefer boxing, if I can take a kickboxing class here at college next semester I'll do so.

I just watch mma (for about ten years now), and I used to watch boxing but have lost a lot of interest the past few years.
Anyhow, I'm not a Chuck Liddell fan. This is an older interview for those who never saw it. It really showcases his intelligence: "a bla bla duh"....he forgot his bicycle helmet though. No really, I think he was just on some medication but serious lulz anyhow.

kimbo is a joke. i'd like to see him agaisnt minotauro or emelianenko. even someone under his weight with technic could beat him on a serious event.
He didn't throw the fight, he just had his ass handed to him. The first time I saw the fight I was skeptical as to what happened, but if you look closely on a decent reply you can see that after Seth's teep kick, his punch connected with Kimbo's chin and dropped him. There's no reason why Kimbo would throw the fight as it only hurts his career, losing to someone as relatively unknown as Seth. Now EliteXC has to be even more careful in handpicking their opponents for Kimbo because the the myth they've tried to build around him to sell tickets has been had, and he's been exposed as the fighter he is, and always was - a "tough guy" with a rookie skill-set. And people forget too that Kimbo is like 35...
