I just plain haven't seen many shows this summer, or this year period. But things are looking up with the recently announced TOOL/ISIS tour. Waaaay cool, as I'm a big fan of both bands. I don't know who might know ISIS here, but they are fantastic.

Also, just found out the new Mars Volta is coming out in August (as is the new Motorhead!), and I've tickets for Celtic Frost in September (as well as Queensryche). Plus....just picked up Venom tickets for August. Cool. Like I said, things are picking up!

Just saying.....:headbang:

Well...
Thursday I have Sounds of the Underground to look foward to.
But come July 29th, I have Ozzfest.
Two days later is Dragonforce/Between The Buried And Me.
3 days later is the Crumbsuckers 20th Annaversary Reunion show.
And the day after that, Alice in Chains.
And that week I have a weeks payed vacation from work.

A bit the other way around here...been very busy with concerts last months, now it's quiet for the next 2 months or so...Maybe I'll pick a small concert of a local band or so next months ...

I'm going to see Body Count in august in Stockholm,
that should be a fun gig I hope. Been a long time since I first saw him.

I picked up tickets to Tesla and Slaughter on Friday. The show's not until September. Black Label Society and Blackstone Cherry are playing in November. I'm trying to talk my wife into that one. She likes the Cherry band, I like BLS. Queensryche in October. Kamelot, Epica in October. Celtic Frost (?) in October. Cripes! Ain't nothing happening until the Fall.

I saw them at the "Cop Killer" tour, and they were very good. I'm curious about the new record...I think Cop Killer was a fresh record in the 90's, it was very 80's crossover/thrash as virtually no band did at that time. I think the lyrics thing was way misunderstood on that record. Offcourse English isn't my first language and I tend to the whole of music-vocals first, afterwards I sometimes can get into the lyrics...

I have tickets to next Maiden gig in here.:kickass:

Yeah, I forgot to mention their album in my "what's coming up," list....though I think the release is late fall? I forget. But cool that's coming too. Not a lot of chances they'll hit America though. Ozzfest was kind of a debacle, you'll all remember, and before that there were some quotes floating around about Maiden be kind of fed up with America. We'll see. I'd love to see a repeat of the last tour (pre-Ozzfest) with bands like Motorhead and Dio. That was a great lineup. I went to two shows.

Shit, I was around 2 h from the gig in Sacramento with no way to go there. I would have gladly died for that concert

I have an Anthraz and Rob Zombie show this friday:kickass: . Much more excited for Anthrax. Zombie will probably put on a good show but the music is nothing amazing.

Oh yes, I love the Flower Kings. Their show here last year was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I love prog-metal, but also am a huge prog-rock fan, as well.

You just earned another drink on me :kickass:

I thought I was the only fan of TFK around. Absolutely crazy about them and most of their side projects: Transatlantic, Karmakanic, The Tangent
