Kits of Doom - Superior Drummer

Hi guys!!

I was having fun modifing some superior presets from my own collection the other day and two cool “new” presets came up.
So… it seems a good idea top ut them here and listen some opinions about them.


My real goal will be to came up with something cool from scrath… but i think this is a cool way to learn.

And this is my new challenge.... to get any usable sounds from a unusable library!!
uses only Drumkit from hell.... still a work in progres for sure!

sounds pretty cool, man!!!! definitely a very 'REAL" vibe to them.

my only complaint is the 'space' the snare is living in. it sets it MUCH to far back in the mix for anything more than indie rock.... cool ass kits though...

Work on that snare, less room (or more compressed, blended rooms) and give it a 1, 2 smack with some compression as well.

Okay so when I go to load your Avatar preset it doesn't load anything other than the default kit...

The Metal Machine loads though... or at least tries to, but I don't have that expansion yet.

Bloddy avatar is only avatar library

earth shaker is TMF with a metal machine snare

well i got the presets to work... but the Metal Machine snare sounds so much better! can you give any recommendations on what avatar or MF snare to use instead? how do you get that nice reverb sound, all in superior or did you use your own reverb, and if so which? Thanks dude!

Metal Machine snares Rules...
i also like nirZ and black beauty from avatar and de ludwig supra 402 from tmf.

try boosting around 150hz and compresing the room tracks, maybe blending two snares (x drum)


Both presets are made in the sd2 using lekteri's one as starting point...
