I'm getting either Korg X50 or Roland Juno-D the day after tomorrow.

Or is there some better option?

I like these two because they're first of all pretty similar, both are small and light and easy to use and have good sounds and real time adjustment possibility.

I just saw the Juno-D and remembered people had talked about it here.. What I liked better about that was that the keys were much better, it seemed stronger and it was cheaper.

Any thoughts, pros / cons?

Roland SH-201 was also an option before I thought Korg X50 was more suitable for mu use, but then I found this Juno-D.. it feels so hard and sexy.

Quick answers from keyboard players requested..

What do you want to do with that thing?

Actually, I had once forgotten a porn magazine open on my keyboard, I took a lady to my place and she asked what's that, I had to convince her I was making music tracks for porn movies for a little reward and the mag was there for inspiration.. And maybe that's what I'll do with it

Id say go by what you feel sounds the best, if you can't decide which sounds better go for what feels best...

If you find them both the same just go for the better price point.

I'm a dedicated Korg person...that's just me. I own a Triton, that's what I use for anything and everything. but Roland's I don't know as much about. I say go with the Korg.. or do some serious testing on both. It's all a matter of personal preference really. Synthesizers are THE SHIT by the way.

i thought you would have wanted this:

An important low point about SH-201 is that it's just 4 octaves. 5 is good for me, 6 is maybe too much.. The good thing is that it's got so much things you can setup realtime, but maybe too much for me, I don't need all that.

Korg X50 and Roland Juno-D are pretty similar. But the Juno-D has much better keys and seems stronger and is cheaper.

Hey where the fuck can I get this keyboard stand / addition(?) where you can bend the keyboard / lift it up from the front so that you can keep your wrists straight and not strain them while you're playing standing up???
