Krank, Recto, 5150...comparison, blends etc

Yep, here are the promised tracks..

I still have to learn alot about the Stein, but here are the first comparison-clips.

Amps used are (no particular order):

Recto, Krank, 5150 and the combination of those.

please vote for the clip you like the most and as well give reasons and guess which clip is which amp/combination.

to keep it fair all the clips were recorded with the same volume, mic-position and w/o any post-processing

Were you trying to make the Mesa and the Peavey to sound as bad as the Krank? If so you succeeded, lol (just kiddin', but they all sound like Krank to me, don't recognize the signature Peavey or Mesa sounds)

Settigs on the Recto and Peavey are pretty much the same I'm using most of the time (for rehearsal)

so it might be that I just like this kind of sound and so dialed them in like that

are tracks 3 and 6 the peavey or krank, they seem to have a more crunchy mid and a bit more bite, think i prefer those tones than the others

Yes of course I didn't mean to offence at all, but they do all indeed sound very similar (especially in the highs area) and quite unlike the Mesa and the Peavey that I have (different dialing I'm sure).

Actually, i refuse to vote. The difference is subtle anyhow, and all clips have the same style of sound. Any of the combinations works with that riff.

my ears are alittle stuffy right now, but from what i can tell, i like 4 or 6 the best. They all have a kinda krank-ish sound.

3 supports the rawness of the riff best, I think. Followed by 2 and 1.
I also guess it´s only one amp, but couldn`t tell which one (though it sounds the krankest for me).
