Hey Massili, for the money the Samson 65a is actually good. Never heard these KRK but I´ve worked with V8s and I thought they we´re too fatiguing, way too much high-mids for my taste. YMMV many like the V8.

IME the NS10 are the best monitor ever, I´ve worked with Genelecs (both full range and near field), Auratones, Samson, KRK and a few others and for me NS10 are still the best, you can really hear the mids in there, not fatiguing at all, but now they´re too expensive, there are some new Yamahas that are supposed to fill the gap but I´ve never worked with them.

Tapco S5's and S8's are well worth a look, they piss on the KRK RP series from a great height (and the RP's are actually good!!).
