A local hardcore band who listen to nothing but Nails, Harm's Way etc so the HM-2 was mandatory.

Lots of tape saturation on everything courtesy of TB ReelBus.

Any advice, criticism whatsoever is welcome!

Snare needs a bit more brightness to match everything else. Other than that it sounds good! Is that the Outhouse Studios kick?

That's the original kick with about 4-5 layers of compression and limiting haha.
In the breakdown at the end it's all the same sample of a harder hit though.

Really cool. Can you give more details about the guitar and bass sounds? Dimed HM-2 into clean channel or used as a boost. What type of cab and what mics did you use? What did you do for the bass sound? How did you eq the guitar and bass?
Cheers for any info

Guitars were my Epiphone Les Paul Custom with 85 and 81 into a Marshall JCM800 for one side, Hughes & Kettner Trilogy for the other. Both with the HM-2 running into a crunch channel (not highly distorted, not clean) then through my Zilla Super Fat Boy mic'd with a SM57 (Tape OP mod) and Cascade Fat Head.

Bass was a cheapo Fender Jazz through Sansamp then processed in the box.
Barely any EQ done to the guitars other than high and low-pass filtering.
