Granted, Opeth at least uses old tricks in new contexts, while Ulver favors a technique of direct ripoff, but still...

If your garage was in San Francisco and mine was in Atlanta, I don't think either of us would particularly care where we were standing when we had the conversation. The 'irony' (not quite the right word, but it will do in a pinch) relies on the placement of the garage (or of my musical affections), not the placement of my body (corporeal or cyber).
