Petrucci is most certainly not the greatest either...technically hes awesome but he is nowhere near as tasteful and his phrasing is nowhere near as good as say Paul Gilbert

I don´t really know a lot of Romeo... I got the Guitar Chapter some time ago, I´ll check it out soon. Paul Gilbert RULEZ. my faves are Laiho, Gilbert and Vai, when it comes to style of course.... when at that level of guitar playing I really don´t care who can pick the most notes per second
