So he fucks up a single note?
Big deal.
He's standing there, playing live to hundreds of people, recording himself for a DVD with worldwide distribution, and he makes the 'biggest mistake on the DVD'? And it's a single note? Man, I would kill to play as good as Mikael can; and I think when we get to nitpicking the 'ruined' atmosphere of the song from that little mistake, we've gone a little too far.
Then again, maybe that's just me.
And c'mon, it adds to the atmosphere when Mikael plays it different and goes a little crazy on the vibrato. I'm not saying fuck ups = quality atmosphere, I'm just saying when he and the band really get into it, THAT is what separates live performance from recorded performance. And if the 'price' the listener has to pay is a single note fuckup, I will be at the head of the line.
