ok, so I recorded guitars today, used some mics, a clean signal and a pre-amp out signal.. if I want to combine those; there will be latency and thus phase issues between the direct recorded signals and the mic signals.. how do you solve that problem? just slide the bars in nuendo/cubase/protools? or do you have some kind of anti-latency/phase plugin?

thanks in advance!

I would just slide the clips and line them up. Would be easiest I think and you could always try lining them up perfectly or in different places where they're in phase and see what you like best. There isn't a plug that I know of, but there could be.

I guess it really depends on how close you miked the amp. In most cases I think you'll be ok. like when I record drums, I like to put up room mics. I never have to adjust those to my close mics. If you feel like your having phase issues you could allows nudge the other one over a few ms.

I found VoxengoLatencyDelay that solves my phase-problems, very accurate, thanks for helping anyway!

you might really want to try voxengo latencydelay, works like a charm! :)
