Just wrapped this one up.




I'll be doing one of these for Jeff (DSS3) before too long. That guitar is really going to be a beauty!

I'm not sure what you mean.

The trem cavity cover is made out of an offcut from the neck (with the mahogany strips added before thicknessing). The electronics cavity cover is just a slice of mahogany from the same board as the wings. It's not matching grain, but I didn't have enough of that wood to resaw it first.

Mate, aside from the guitar (which is absolutely gorgeous!) I would have to complement you on your speaking manner in these videos. Got a good down-to-earth vibe going on without any unnecessary waffling on. Also the new photo style is looking fantastic; as this was something I commented on last time - it's great to see the improvement!
