So now that Music for Nation is shut down does this postpone recording and release for Opeth's 2005 album? It seems like it would affect the album but does anyone know how difficult it will be for Opeth to pick up a new label? They should just come to the States for a while.

Nah, they are only beginning writing now, not recording...BUT it could if they dont get signed by the time it comes to recording etc. Still, who wouldn't want a band as classy as Opeth??

yeah if i was a label, i'd pick them up right away. around where i live, theyre probably one of the most known metal bands
Yeah I guess it won't be very difficult for them to find a label. I guess I knew that. The real question is how difficult it will be to find a label that won't close in two years.

I wouldn't be suprised if a more well known label picks them up..

i would think that the label that has porcupine tree signed (Lava or something i believe) would pick em up

Im sure they have considered almost every label possible. They are probably just taking their time making sure they make a good choice, or just waiting for a good offer.
