Lesser known/obscure progressive Metal bands?

Hi all, I am looking for obscure/not so well known Prog-Metal bands, that have studio albums released and that not many are aware of.

Basically, lists of any length are welcome, but try to aim and be as obscure as possible. I hear there's some member who is like the biggest specialist, imagine that I am talking about YOU and make an inspired list.

Check them out.

And ask NFU about seriously obscure stuff.

Although how obscure do you want? I could probably tell you the names of some local bands who'll never get a recording deal, that's as obscure as it gets really.

Ummm... not prog-metal. If you're looking for 70's type prog, you've hit the gold mine. NFU is the guy to talk to.

He's taught us a fair bit of 70's prog bands, but I'm not sure that's what you were after.

Are you after prog rock? Or modern prog metal?

i dont want to recommend many progressive "metal" bands...most of them are horrid.
