Chrome will feel much faster on a slower comp with windows. It's indistinguishable on a fast one (SSD, etc). I use chrome at work and firefox at home for this reason, since I still prefer the ADBLOCK/NOSCRIPT that Firefox provides and the way bookmarks are handled/presented.

This new version of firefox is ass though brah. It feels noticeably slower, jumps too much when I gingerly tap the scroll wheel, and the bookmarks have been moved to the far right, all for the sake of change. Currently using the old version on this lap top. I need to downgrade to the previous version on my updated pc, if it's not that much of a pain in the ass to do so.
