Transmission went on my car earlier this week. Finances just took a swan dive into the shitter. Otherwise ... yeah! Studying TEFL so I can be like that Thanatopsis guy.
Work is a drag but I've made peace with it. Had a fun but crazy couple of months with another guy's wife recently... oh man. If it was 5 years ago I would have been on here venting about it a LOT. Overall... WIN!

Dude, what are you doing? All you need is a college degree to teach over here. A degree in ANYTHING. Unless you're trying to join the JET program (which there have been cutbacks in recently due to funding problems), why don't you just get your ass over here? See if you like it, THEN go for TEFL if you want to stay here but make more money.

By the way, the Japanese school year started recently. I have so much stress I feel like a rat is trying to burrow a hole through my stomach Alien style. Life quality not exactly an all-time high here.

basic summary:
- met her online, she claims to be "polyamorous" and that her husband was totally aware of all this (probably bullshit, I know)
- she was insanely jealous, insecure, tried to be controlling but I do not go for that at all
- claimed I caused her so much stress and pain by not going along with all her bullshit
- was pretty fucking hot and a lot of fun in bed
- now we don't talk but I think I saw her and her husband walking down the sidewalk yesterday as two of my buddies and I were attempting to pull off a coordinated suits & shades look for another friend's film screening

2012's been awesome so far. It's required to me get up at 4 A.M. and to be at school/work six days a week, but here I am with the highest grades I've ever gotten (assuming I do well on my finals this week), as well as a rewarding job for which I can basically pick my own hours now. And I'm engaged to a sillyhead that makes me smile 24/7. Good stuff.
