What do you think of Limbonic Art? Do you like their albums? I like what I heard of them on Black Metal Radio. Their material I heard off multiple albums was good, I liked the symphonic elements in it. I read they broke up though. Do any of you hate them and feel like they should be called Limbonic (F)art?

what do I think about them?? uhmm... let me think

I think...

that there is a a Thread Where You Talk About Music You Like at the top of the board
Yeah, but someone did one on Old Man's Child already and I did one on everyone's opinion of Torture Killer so I assumed it was safe to make a thread. Seriously answer.:)

I gotta be honest the only thing even close to Black Metal I like is stuff like satyricon, dimmu borgir, and some cradle of filth

but I feel too much of a poser to listen to any of those bands so I just stick to the other genres (death/thrash/progressive)

Well, they're not suicidal-depressive BM like Xasthur, I'd compare them to Emperor because Limbonic Art is basically symphonic metal as well.

Yeah, I'm also not a big BM fan - though not because I'm a poseur, just because, in my opinion, the huge vast majority of BM is complete and utter shite.

You might (should) enjoy latter Immortal, though. I rec. Immortal - At The Heart of Winter:kickass:

What the fuck is a Limbonic anyway? Does it refer to Limbo (the caribean pole-dance thingme), in which case, bravo! More holiday-cruise based BM please!

Limbonic Fart is a farting stripper I guess. Well that';s what I thought of first thing when you said pole dancing.

You could check the dictionary.

sarcasm

noun {U}

the use of remarks which clearly mean the opposite of what they say, and which are made in order to hurt someone's feelings or to criticize something in an amusing way:
- "You have been working hard, " he said with heavy sarcasm, as he looked at the empty page.

I have one of their albums and I really enjoy it. I'm liking these guys more and more every day, and they play metal just the way I like it: fast, vicious and with mystique.

They're a pretty good band, but have their obvious faults.

Also, early ...and Oceans material (first two discs) is PERFECT symphonic black.
